Chrome

According to CNN.com, Google just released a new web browser called Chrome. It is in direct competition with Microsoft's Internet Explorer. The browser works with Microsoft Windows and is still working on making the browser compatible with Apple and Linux systems. However, it is a little ironic that Google is coming out with their new browser a week after the Internet Explorer 8 was released. Google's Chrome is supposed to be a more sophisticated Web browser. Although the product might be great, it sounds to me that the tensions between Microsoft and Google exceed the story of the new Web browsers. This story suggests that since Chrome is more sophisticated, it will be easier for people to customize their online preferences. I am curious to see what Chrome really is and what makes it stand out from the rest of the Web browsers out there.

You should try it, it's quite something! They still wouldn't set the date of the Mas and Linux release. Hopefully, it comes out before the semester is over so we can try it out in class.
